Spiced Peaches

- 2 (29-ounce) cans cling peach halves shopping list
- 1 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup cider vinegar shopping list
- 4 cinnamon sticks shopping list
- 2 teaspoons whole cloves shopping list
How to make it
- Drain peaches, reserving syrup.
- Combine peach syrup, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon sticks, and cloves in a saucepan; bring to boiling; lower heat and simmer 10 minutes. Pour hot syrup over peach halves and let cool.
- Chill thoroughly before serving.
- Store in refrigerator.
- Yield: about 4 pints.
