This famous Kentucky pie has been published under many different names since the name and original Derby Pie recipe is copyrighted. This is a big Kentucky favorite.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp bourbon
  • 3/4 cup Karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 9 inch pie shell

Directions
  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients except chocolate chips and pecans. Mix well and add chocolate chips and pecans. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
