Egg Casserole

- 5 slices white bread shopping list
- butter shopping list
- 3/4 lb (12 oz) grated cheddar cheese shopping list
- 6 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard shopping list
- pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Remove crust from bread. Butter bread and cut in quarters. Grease 9 x 11 inch casserole dish and line with bread, butter side up. Pour cheese over bread. Beat eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper, pour over cheese. Leave in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour uncovered. (Bake last 5 minutes uncovered.)
- Variations: Add any type of pre cooked breakfast meat.
