Beer Bread

BEER BREAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Griffith Estate in Hurst, Texas in 1981.
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 12 ounces beer shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together then add beer and mix well.
- Spoon into two greased loaf pans then melt butter and drizzle over top.
- Bake 45 minutes and serve warm.
