You can be as creative as you want with this recipe! These bars are rich and delicious! Could be served as a classic dessert or as a sweet treat for breakfast!
Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese shopping list
- 1 box powdered sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 stick butter, softened shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- whisk together cake mix, butter, and 1 egg
- press into greased 9x13 pan
- mix cream cheese, 2 eggs, and powered sugar
- pout into pan
- bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown

- add a cup of chocolate chips or peanut butter chips to cream cheese mixture and bake as directed
- add 1 drained can of crushed pineapple to cream cheese mixture and bake as directed
- substitute yellow cake mix for chocolate, add 1 cup of creamy peanut butter to the cream cheese mixture and bake as directed
- add 1 (15oz) can of pumpkin, 1 more egg, spash of vanilla, 1 stick of butter (melted), and a dash of cinnamon to the cream cheese mixture and bake 40-50 minutes
