Quick And Easy Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

Ingredients

1 Cup of Peanut Butter

1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract

4 Cups of Confectioner's Sugar

1 Cup of butter or margarine

Directions

1) Microwave the butter and peanut butter on high until it is fully melted

2) While stirring the peanut butter and butter, add vanilla and confectioner's sugar (optional: mix in a cup of semi-sweet ground cocoa)

3) Stir until the consistency is smooth (hint, if you have a sifter, sift the confectioner's sugar before mixing)

4) Pour into an 8 x 8 inch pan

5) Refrigerate until hardened

7) Cut and enjoy

Alterations

I like to add 1 cup of quick cooking oats (not cooked) to this recipe. Look for the smaller ones like Mccanns Irish or Scottish oats. The oats are smaller and blend in nice.

Best to work this into the recipe by using your hands. It blends nicer that way without breaking your arm using a spoon.

Gives the fudge and nice texture.
