This is the recipe that used to be on the Baker's chocolate box, with a little tweak. It basically rocks.

Ingredients
  • 1 box of Baker's semisweet chocolate
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Microwave Baker's chocolate squares in large microwavable bowl on high 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth. Stir in sugar, butter eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking powder.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  5. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 12 to 13 minutes or until cookies are puffed and feel set to the touch. Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
