Ingredients

How to make it

  • Spray a 9X13 cake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Spread the Marshmallows in the bottom of the pan in a single layer. Mix the cake batter according to package directions and pour over marshmallows.
  • Spoon the fruit pie filling on top of the batter in 5-6 globs.
  • Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until cake pulls away from the edges of the pan.
  • Made it with cherry (using chocolate cake mix), blueberry, pineapple, and apple pie (using spice cake mix) fillings. It makes a really moist cake.
  • The "surprise" is that the marshmallows cook to the top and the pie filling goes to the bottom.
