Upside-Down Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

How to make it

  • Sprinkle marshmallows evenly into a greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking
  • dish. Set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl,combine strawberries and gelatin. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl,cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time,beating well after each addition.
  • Beat in vanilla.
  • Combine flour,baking powder,and salt. Add to butter mixture alternately with milk.
  • Pour batter over marshmallows.
  • Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
  • Cool completely in pan.
  • Spread whipped topping over cake. Garnish with additional sliced strawberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
