As good as these are it probably wont serve 12, depends on how many pieces each person eats.

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1 package (10 oz. about 40) marshmallows
  • - or -
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • Yellow or orange frosting
  • Decorating gel

Directions
  1. In a microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
  2. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add RICE KRISPIES cereal.
  4. Stir until well coated.
  5. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray.
  6. When slightly cooled cut cereal mixture with leaf shaped cookie cutters or use a knife to cut leaf shapes.
  7. Allow to cool completely.
  8. Decorate by spreading frosting over top of leaves.
  9. Draw veins on leaves with decorating gel.
  10. Best if served the same day.
  11. Microwave cooking times may vary.
  12. CONVENTIONAL DIRECTIONS:
  13. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat.
  14. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  15. Remove from heat.
  16. Follow steps 2 thru 4 above.
  17. NOTE
  18. For best results, use fresh marshmallows.
  19. 1 jar(7oz.) marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows.
  20. Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended
