Ingredients

1 c. Parmesan cheese, I use Kraft

1 pint mayonaise

1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled

1 small pkg. frozen peas, cooked and chilled

1/2 container cherry tomatoes, sliced in half

1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained

1/2 c. celery, finely chopped

1/2 c. green pepper, finely chopped

1/2 c. onion, finely chopped

1/2 head lettuce, torn into small pieces

Directions

Assemble salad in layers starting with lettuce, working your way up to the parmesan cheese.

Chill overnight.

Interesting and looks good. We love salads. There must be as many layered salads as there are people who love them. Mine is different but the same. Slight changes in ingredients but the same idea. Layer the flavors and dig straight to the bottom when you serve it.
