How to make it

  • Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water (making broth)
  • Mash veggies and put in soup pot
  • Add butter, garlic powder, onion powder or flakes to mashed veggies
  • Pour in the broth and bring to a boil
  • Lower heat and add whipping cream
  • Simmer until heated thoroughly but not boiling
  • Salt and pepper to taste!!

    Sounds easy and delicious; a quick week-night meal. Do you think using half & half or maybe even milk would still make it creamy enough? What about evaporated milk? (I have cholesterol issues.) Thanks!
