How to make it

  • combine beef, salt and pepper in a large bowl, mix well
  • shape into 6 patties
  • press 5 or 6 pineapple tidbits into each patty
  • place patties in a glass baking dish
  • combine garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, oil, ketchup and pepper flakes in a small bowl
  • pour over patties
  • refrigerate, covered until ready to cook, at least 15 minutes
  • preheat grill, drain patties
  • wrap each with a slice of bacon
  • secure with a wooden pick
  • grill pattied for 8 minutes on each side
