Moms Nut Cups Recipe
Yummy and rich tidbits that are a standard of my mom's for our Christmas gatherings. The holidays wouldn't be the same without them!

Ingredients
  • Dough:
  • 4 Cups flour
  • 1 lb margarine (softened)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • Filling:
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 1 lb walnuts or pecans (chopped fine in food processor)

Directions
  1. Dough:
  2. Cream margarine and cream cheese in bowl, mixing until blended.
  3. Add 4 cups flour, mix well.
  4. Filling:
  5. Melt the stick of margarine and place in large bowl.
  6. Add the 4 beaten eggs and vanilla and mix.
  7. Add the brown sugar and nuts and mix well.
  8. Place small balls of dough in bottom of miniature muffin tin.
  9. Form cup by patting dough up the sides to top of tin.
  10. Fill each cup with the nut filling a little more than half full.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  12. Cool.
  13. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.
