Beef And Spinach Manicotti

- 1 pkg. manicoti shells, cooked (approx. 14) shopping list
- 1 (10-oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thaw and squeeze excess liquid shopping list
- 1 lb. ground beef, browned shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- ¾ c. parmesan cheese (reserve ¼ cup) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 (15-1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown ground beef with garlic.
- Combine spinach, beef, cheese, and eggs.
- Pour ½ cup spaghetti sauce in bottom of baking dish.
- Stuff pasta shells with about 3 tablespoons of filling.
- Place stuffed manicotti on top of the sauce and pour remaining sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
- Bake 45 minutes or until bubbly.
- Note:I like to cut the partially thawed block of spinach in small squares so the pieces of spinach are shorter. Then squeeze excess liquid.
