Ingredients
  • 4-8 pork chops
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 8-10 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 c flour
  • Lawry’s seasoning salt
  • Garlic salt
  • pepper
  • ½ c milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ stick butter
  • 1 ½ c oil
  • 1 ½ c cold water

Directions
  1. Season pork chops with garlic salt and pepper.
  2. Beat egg and milk together.
  3. Mix flour and seasoning salt.
  4. Dip pork chop in egg mixture and coat with flour mixture.
  5. Fry in oil until golden brown.
  6. Saute onion, bell pepper and mushrooms in butter with garlic salt and set aside.
  7. Add 4 T of the left over oil to a skillet and the ½ cup of flour.
  8. Blend the flour into the oil until it is a smooth brown paste.
  9. Add water to flour mixture and stir until smooth; then add sauted mixture and cook for 15-20 minutes.
  10. Add the chops and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
