Ingredients

8 slices of bread cut into cubes

1 package of frozen hash browns, thawed

1 lb of rolled sausage

1 sweet onion, chopped

2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 eggs

2 cups half & half (or milk)

1 tsp Lawry’s Season Salt

½ tsp pepper

Directions

Cook crumbled sausage and onion until brown. Drain well and set aside.

Spray a 9 x 13 casserole dish with cooking spray

Layer with bread cubes

Layer 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Layer with thawed hash browns

Layer with crumbled cooked sausage and onion

In a separate container, beat eggs with half & half, salt & pepper and pour over casserole

Top with remaining cup of cheddar cheese

Bake at 350 for 40 minutes until top is golden brown

Cool for 10 minutes

Serves 6-8 people

My daughter made this once with the tiny smoky links sliced thin. Cooked them up because she didn't have any rolled sausage on hand. She said she liked it even better that way.
