- Brinjal--- 3 medium sized brinjals shopping list
- ginger paste -1/2 tsp shopping list
- garlic 1tsp shopping list
- onion I small grated finely shopping list
- cumin seed shopping list
- curry leaves 5-6 leaves shopping list
- Garam masala powder- 1 tsp shopping list
- Tomato puree- 2 tbsppon shopping list
- sugar – 2 tsp shopping list
- soy sauce 1tsp shopping list
- oil to fry shopping list
- salt shopping list
- Turmeric powder- 1 tsp shopping list
- water shopping list
How to make it
- 1.Wash the Brinjal and cut in to 2 “pieces .
- 2.Add 1 tsp turmeric powder and salt to the brinjal pieces
- 3.Heat oil in the pan and fry the brinjal pieces. Care should be taken not to overcook the brinjal pieces.
- 4.Transfer it in to a plate.
- 5.Add cumin seeds and don’t let it burn. Add ganger garlic and onion paste and curry leaves and fry it when it is cooked add tomato puree in to it.
- 6.Add sugar and chili powder ( according to taste).
- 7.Mix it properly and add the fried brinjal pieces and add the soy sauce. Add the garam masala powder.
- 8.Adjust the salt if required.
- 9.Add little luke warm water if you need a gravy.
- 10.Cook for 2 mins .
- 11.serve with roti or rice
