Ingredients
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 C dry white wine. chicken broth or water
  • 15 oz can chiken broth
  • 2 Cups water
  • 6 ounce can slice, ripe olives, undrained
  • 6 ounce jar marinated artichoke hearts, undrained
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 C uncooked elbow macaroni or small shells
  • 1 ounce envelope savory garlic and herb soup mix
  • 1 C grape tomatoes for color and taste (optional)

Directions
  1. Place chicken in slow cooker
  2. Spread onion over chicken
  3. Combine remaining ingredients except soup mix and tomatoes and pour over chicken
  4. Sprinkle with soup mix
  5. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour and then on low for 3 1/2 hours
  6. Stir in grape tomatoes 30 minutes before serving, if using
