Pecan Tassies

- (48 to 50) shopping list
- CRUST: shopping list
- 2 c. flour shopping list
- 2 3 oz. pkgs. cream cheese (soft) shopping list
- 2 sticks oleo---chill this after mixing together (butter or margarine) shopping list
- While this is chilling in ice box make filling. shopping list
How to make it
- FILLING:
- 3 eggs well beaten
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsps. melted butter
- 2 tsps. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
- Make ball the size of walnut from chilled pastry.
- Place into bite size tins.
- With fingers make pastry cover sides and bottoms of tins.
- Add filling by teaspoons---(or pour out of pitcher).
- Bake in 350 oven about 20 to 25 minutes.

A woman who I considered my mother-in-law used to make these for Christmas. Ooh-ee these taste good! I'll have to make some this year - but where do I find oleo?
