Confirmation Turkey

This recipe is perfect for large parties. Simply cook the turkey overnight and it can be kept in a crockpot for a long time prior to serving.
Ingredients
- marinade shopping list
- -1 Tbsp. onion powder shopping list
- -1 c. warm water shopping list
- -1 c. soy sauce shopping list
- -1 c. peanut or veg. oil shopping list
- -1 c. Holland House white cooking wine shopping list
- -1/2 c. lemon juice shopping list
- -1/4 tsp. pepper shopping list
- -2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- -1/2 tsp. ground ginger shopping list
- turkey shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together to create marinade.
- Marinate turkey or turkey breast in a turkey cooking bag overnight.
- Cook turkey with marinade in a bag. Cook according to turkey weight.
- When done, save marinade. Cut or shred turkey and put into crockpot with marinade.
- Heat - Serve on buns.
- Note - You can remove settled oil from top before putting it back into the crockpot. Also, you can double the marinade recipe for more turkey.

I am printing this one right now! What size turkey do you suggest? I bought a bunch of turkeys over the Thanksgiving holiday on sale, so I'm all set. I'll bet leftovers freeze well, too. Great post! - Natalie
