How to make it

  • Preheat your oven to 400
  • In a medium saucepan, mix together sugar and cornstarch
  • Stir in 1/2 cup each of peach and apricot juice.
  • Cook over medium heat while stirring.
  • When it boils for about 2 minutes remove.
  • Stir in butter, and almond extract
  • Add peaches and apricots mix well
  • Spoon in to a 1 1/2 quart dish.. If using BBQ USE METAL
  • Mix all the crust ingredents together and pour or spoon over fruit
  • Bake until top is a nice golded brown.
  • Remove to a rack to cool just a bit
  • Mix topping until it forms peaks
  • Serve warm with whipped topping
  • It's always good cold too, if there are left overs!
