- 6-8 chicken legs shopping list
- 5 large onions shopping list
- sumac shopping list
- cumin shopping list
- allspice shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- Arabic flat bread (thin) shopping list
How to make it
- Season chicken legs with sumac, cumin, allspice, salt and pepper to taste
- Bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 hours
- Cut onions into small pieces
- Season with salt and sumac (enough sumac to make the onions reddish in color)
- Cook in oil (make sure to use a lot of oil, the onions should be "swimming") until soft
- Place flat bread on pan
- Cover bread with broth from the chicken and oil from the onions
- Spoon onions over bread
- Cook in the oven until bread is crispy (10 minutes or so)
- Place chicken on onions
