Bittersweet Almond Chocolate Pudding

- 2c milk shopping list
- 1/3c sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2Tbs cornstarch shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
- 3oz. bittersweet chocolate chopped shopping list
- 1/2tsp almond extract shopping list
- 1/4c sliced almonds shopping list
- 1/4tsp olive oil shopping list
- 1/2c frozen whipped topping,thawed shopping list
How to make it
- In lg. microwave-safe bowl,combine milk,sugar,eggs,cornstarch and salt. Whisk till welll blended
- Microwave,uncovered,on high for 5 mins. Whisk till smooth
- In second bowl,melt chocolate on high 1 min. Stir. Microwave on high another 30 seconds. Stir till smooth. Whisk chocolate and almond extract into milk mixture till smooth.
- Spoon into 4 serving dishes,cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
- Jusy before serving,toast almonds;place nuts in glass pie plate. Toss with olive oil. Microwave,uncovered,for 1 min. on high. Stir. Microwave an additional min.or until lightly toasted.
- Garnish puddings with whipped topping,then sprinkle with toasted nuts.
