PUMPKIN PIE CAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Boomer Estate in Garland, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 30 ounce can pumpkin pie mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 12 ounce can evaporated milk
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions
  1. Mix pumpkin pie mix, eggs and milk together and pour in a rectangular pan.
  2. Sprinkle cake mix over pumpkin mixture then drizzle butter over cake and sprinkle with nuts.
  3. Bake at 350 for 1 hour then served with whipped cream.
