- 1 lg. onion minced shopping list
- 1/2 cup of red wine shopping list
- 1/4 cup minced flat leaf parsley shopping list
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes shopping list

How to make it
- Core all the tomatoes

- In a very large skillet put the olive oil and heat on med until a drop of water "bounces" when dropped in.
- Add the onion and saute for 5 minutes
- Add the garlic and saute for 1 minute
- Set aside
- Remove the skins from the tomatoes
- Put in a food processor and pulsate in batches until you obtain the consistency that you like
- Pour into the skillet
- Add some wine
- Add the parsley , salt and pepper
- Simmer for 30 minutes, uncovered,
- Place a ladle full of the sauce in a small bow, allow to cool slightly and taste,
- Adjust the flavorings
- Now you have a basic tomato sauce that you can add meats, cheeses and vegetables to
- I like it just like this with a loaf of fresh Italian bread and a bowl of olive oil and minced garlic and a bottle of Red Table Wine. Now that's living!!!
