Super Moist Vanilla Cake Recipe

this light, sweet, slightly spicy cake is perfect for birthdays. just frost with frosting of your choice and your good to go! This also makes a great batter for cupcakes.

Ingredients
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. WHOLE milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tblsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13x9 inch pan.
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time until well blended.
- Add vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon and baking powder.
- Alternately mix milk and flour mixture into butter mixture until well blended.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 30-40 minutes or until toothpick or knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

This cake has wonderful flavor, but is super dry. I baked it for 30mins, but could have pulled it at about 20mins. In order to moisten it up some I suggest adding a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of canola oil.
