How to make it

  • Combine first 4 ingredients in heavy saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat stirring constantly until morsels and butter melt.
  • Gradually stir 1/4 of the hot mixture into egg and add to remaining mixture stirring constantly.
  • Cook over medium heat stirring constantly for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and cool to room temperature then fold in whipped cream.
  • Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
