Butterscotch Mousse

- 1 cup butterscotch morsels shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules shopping list
- 3 tablespoons water shopping list
- 1 large egg lightly beaten shopping list
- 1 cup whipping cream whipped shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first 4 ingredients in heavy saucepan.
- Cook over low heat stirring constantly until morsels and butter melt.
- Gradually stir 1/4 of the hot mixture into egg and add to remaining mixture stirring constantly.
- Cook over medium heat stirring constantly for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and cool to room temperature then fold in whipped cream.
- Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
