Mushroom Manchurian

- mushroom (Button mushroom) - 200gms shopping list
- corn flour -5tbsp shopping list
- Baking powder- 1/2 tsp shopping list
- ginger garlic paste-1tsp shopping list
- Green chilli paste – 1/2 tsp shopping list
- Salt- to taste shopping list
- For deep frying shopping list
- water for the batter. shopping list
- For the sauce shopping list
- ginger garlic paste-2tsp shopping list
- Green chilli paste – 1 tsp shopping list
- Soya sauce- 1 tbsp shopping list
- spring onion-1/2 cup( finely chopped) shopping list
- Cilantro- 1/4 cup chopped finely shopping list
- corn flour-1/2 tbsp shopping list
- tomato sauce-1.5tbsp shopping list
- Oil- 1.5tsp shopping list
- Water- 1/2 cup shopping list
How to make it
- Mix corn flour, baking powder, salt and add water to make a batter.
- Heat little oil in a pan just to sauté the ginger garlic paste and add it to the batter.
- Mix it properly
- Dip single mushroom in the batter and deep fry in oil. Fry all mushroom this way and keep aside.
- For the sauce-
- Heat oil. Add ginger- garlic paste sauté for some time. Add green chilli paste and fry for 1 min. Add tomato sauce mix well.
- Add water. Mix well and let it boil
- Dissolve corn flour in water without leaving any lump. Add slowly to the pan mix thoroughly
- Add the fried mushroom. When the gravy thickens add the soya sauce .
- Stir properly. Cook till the mushroom is well coated in the sauce.
- Garnish with spring onion and cilantro.
- Serve hot
