Mushroom Manchurian Recipe
My preference for a weekend dinner. Its nutritious, and even delicious. I prefer to take it with Garlic naan. But goes perfectly well as a side dish.

Ingredients
  • Mushroom (Button mushroom) - 200gms
  • Corn flour -5tbsp
  • Baking powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
  • Green chilli paste – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt- to taste
  • For deep frying
  • Water for the batter.
  • For the sauce
  • Ginger garlic paste-2tsp
  • Green chilli paste – 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce- 1 tbsp
  • Spring onion-1/2 cup( finely chopped)
  • Cilantro- 1/4 cup chopped finely
  • Corn flour-1/2 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce-1.5tbsp
  • Oil- 1.5tsp
  • Water- 1/2 cup

Directions
  1. Mix corn flour, baking powder, salt and add water to make a batter.
  2. Heat little oil in a pan just to sauté the ginger garlic paste and add it to the batter.
  3. Mix it properly
  4. Dip single mushroom in the batter and deep fry in oil. Fry all mushroom this way and keep aside.
  5. For the sauce-
  6. Heat oil. Add ginger- garlic paste sauté for some time. Add green chilli paste and fry for 1 min. Add tomato sauce mix well.
  7. Add water. Mix well and let it boil
  8. Dissolve corn flour in water without leaving any lump. Add slowly to the pan mix thoroughly
  9. Add the fried mushroom. When the gravy thickens add the soya sauce .
  10. Stir properly. Cook till the mushroom is well coated in the sauce.
  11. Garnish with spring onion and cilantro.
  12. Serve hot
