Mushrooms A La Braque

- 1 pound small whole mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 cup olive oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme shopping list
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind grated shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup tarragon vinegar shopping list
- Chopped parsley for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse mushrooms and pat dry.
- Cook mushrooms in heated olive oil for 3 minutes stirring constantly.
- Mix in garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, lemon rind, bay leaf, lemon juice and vinegar.
- Boil gently stirring frequently for 3 minutes.
- Transfer mushrooms and their liquid to a glass bowl then cool.
- Serve at room temperature sprinkled with parsley.
