  • SPICY ORIENTAL SHRIMPS
  • In a casserole, sauté red pepper, garlic and green onion. Add carrots and snow peas, stirring. Add water. Cover for a few minutes.
  • Stir in sauce and crushed pepper. Cover and cook for a few minutes. Add shrimps and continue cooking until sauce boils and thickens, and shrimps are opaque. Add salt to taste. Toss a few times. Serve.

  • ORIENT EXPRESS SAUCE PROCEDURE
  • Combine broth, cornstarch, soy sauce, corn syrup, sherry, vinegar, garlic, ginger and red pepper in 1 ½-quart jar with tight-fitting lid. Shake well. Store in refrigerator up to three weeks. Shake well before using.
