Creamy Mushroom Meatloaf Recipe
CREAMY MUSHROOM MEATLOAF This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Borin Estate in Carrollton, Texas in 1986.

Ingredients
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 pouch dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions
  1. Mix 1/2 cup soup, beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and egg until well combined.
  2. Shape firmly into loaf in baking pan then bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  3. Mix 2 tablespoons drippings, remaining soup and water then heat through.
  4. Serve with meatloaf.
