I found this in a edition of TIME. Am yet to try it so not sure on times. Just thought it would be interesting to share

Ingredients
  • 1.5kg chicken pieces
  • 200g bacon bones
  • thumb sized piece of ginger, cut into strips
  • half an onion, finely sliced
  • 2 peeled and quartered potatos
  • handful of sliced cabbage
  • 1 cucumber cut into strips
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • 700ml water
  • pinch salt
  • 5 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoons chicken stock
  • 10g mustard seed
  • soy sauce
  • Remah paste(how to make it in another recipies- Rempah paste)

Directions
  1. Marinate chicken in soy sauce and pepper to taste for 20min, then brown with onions, ginger and bacon bones.
  2. Add rempah paste, mustard seed, salt and chicken stock. Once rempah is cooked add potatos and water.
  3. Boil until the potatos are cooked and liquid thickens. Add cabbage cucumber and vinegar. Remove from heat.
