Pumpkin Pecan Pie

- Crusts for two 9inch deep dish pies shopping list

- pumpkin Layer: shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 2/3 c white castor sugar shopping list
- 1 c half and half shopping list
- 2 c cooked pumpkin shopping list
- 2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp ginger shopping list
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- ~@~ shopping list
- pecan Layer: shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 3 Tbs melted butter shopping list
- 1/2 c white castor sugar shopping list
- 1 1/4 c white corn syrup shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional) shopping list
- 2 1/2 c pecan halves shopping list
How to make it
- Pumpkin filling:
- Combine pumpkin pie ingredients in order.
- Pour half into one pie crust and half in the other, set aside.
- Pecan filling:
- Beat eggs lightly, add butter, sugar, syrup, vanilla and pecans.
- Carefully spoon over pumpkin filling.
- Bake pies at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes, until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
- Pies set up further while they cool.
