Chocolate Pie Recipe

How to make it

  • Mix sugar, flour, and cocoa together, add enough water to make a paste.
  • Beat in egg yolks well.
  • Heat remaining water with butter and salt until butter is melted, add water mixture to first mixture and cook until thick.
  • Remove from heat, add vanilla.
  • Cool and pour into 9 inch cooked pie crust.
  • Cover with meringue and brown.
