How to make it

  • In large mixing bowl combine all cookie ingredients. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often until well mixed (3-4 minutes). Divide dough in half.
  • Heat oven to 375. On lightly floured surface, roll out dough, half at a time; to 1/4 to 1/8" thickness. Cut with 2-3" cookie cutters. Place 1" apart on cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 6-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Let stand 1 minute, remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely.
  • For frosting, in small mixing bowl combine sugar, butter and vanilla. Beat at low speed, adding enough milk and scraping bowl often, until desired spreading consistency (1-2 minutes). If desired color frosting with food coloring. Decorate cookies with frosting. If desired decorate with sprinkles or decorator candies.
