Five Spice Glazed Chicken Recipe
Five spice powder gives a wonderfu complex flavor to Asian inspired dishes such as this one. Try this preparation on pork or shrimp too.

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2tsp fivespice powder
  • 3Tbs canola oil
  • 2c sliced snow peas and/or red bell pepper
  • 1Tbs minced fresh ginger
  • 1/4c thinlt sliced green onions
  • 11/2Tbs rice wine vinegar
  • 11/2Tbs soy sauce

Directions
  1. Sprinkle chicken with five spice powder. Heat 2Tbs. oil in lg skillet over med-hig heat until hot Cook chicken 6-8 mins.or till browned and no longer pink in center,turning once. Remove chicken,cover loosely with foil.
  2. add remaining 1Tbsp oil to skillet. Cook snow peas and ginger 1-2 mins or till snow peas are crisp-tender and ginger ispale golden brown,stirring occasionally. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Spoon over chicken.
