Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

2 eggs, beaten

3 1/2 mashed ripe bananas

1 cup chopped nuts

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 1/3 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar.

Stir in eggs, mashed bananas, cinnamon and nuts into creamed butter until well blended.

Stir banana mixture into flour mixture.

Pour batter into a lightly greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Bake in preheated oven @ 350F for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.

Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes.
