- I've tried this 3 times now with varying results. First time I made it as written, except I added the baking powder. It rose to the top of the mug, was moist and dense, but the chips all settled at the bottom, there was a bit of unmixed flour at the bottom, and it was tricky to get out of the mug.
- The next time I made it , I sprayed the mug with cooking spray, and mixed everything in reverse order in a bowl first, putting the chips in with the dry ingredients so they wouldn't sink, and poured it into the mug. It did not rise as high,(I'm thinking the cooking spray prevented it from grabbing up the sides )the chips were beautifully suspended in the cake, but there were more dishes to do.
- Today, I mixed the dry ingredients in a bowl first, to really incorporate the flour, and then dumped it into the mug, followed by the egg, milk, oil and vanilla. Coated the chips in a bit of cocoa and stirred them in last. It rose beautifully, chips were all in their places, it stuck slightly to the mug, and yes, there was an extra bowl to throw in the dishwasher.
- Hubby and the kids were quite impressed that I could pull off a great chocolate treat in less than 10 minutes.
- I didn't check the site 10 months ago when I posted this that there were already so many recipes for this tasty tidbit. Sorry for the redundancy.

I am so impressed too! I can't wait to get some new mugs to try this. My mugs are not microwavable.
