- 2-1/2 pounds round steak shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour seasoned with salt and pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup chopped white onions shopping list
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 clove garlic crushed shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives shopping list
- 2 celery stalks shopping list
- 2 whole cloves shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed marjoram shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 bottle Burgundy wine shopping list
- 2 cans whole potatoes drained shopping list
- 1 can whole carrots drained shopping list
How to make it
- Cut steak into 2” squares then coat with seasoned flower and brown in butter in large skillet.
- Transfer to casserole then cook onions, mushrooms and garlic in same skillet until browned.
- Add to meat scraping skillet thoroughly.
- Add parsley, chives, celery stalks, cloves, bay leaf, marjoram, pepper and salt.
- Cover with wine the bake covered at 350 for 3 hours.
- Remove celery stalks, cloves and bay leaf.
- Add potatoes and carrots then cook at low temperature until vegetables are thoroughly heated.
