Baked Fish With Rich Cream And Lemon Sauce Recipe
this dish is simple to make as it is baked like a casserole in the oven or can b cooked on a coalrange as we do at our bach.the beautiful aromas of fish lemon and mild spices optional will leave your mouth watering

Ingredients
  • medium sized fish we use snapper
  • 2-3 medium sized lemons
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 medium sized red capsicums
  • 1 tea spoon salt
  • a few bay leaves
  • 500 ml bottle of cream
  • 2 medium sized onion
  • 2 table spoons butter
  • 1 tea spoon of paprika

Directions
  1. leave fish as whole after being scaled, gutted and washed clean
  2. cut fish down the middle
  3. put fish in a casserole dish or a baking dish
  4. rub the crushed garlic into the flesh of the fish
  5. slice the capsicums roughly and put on the fish
  6. slice onions and scatter on fish
  7. sprinkle over the paprika and the salt
  8. pour over the cream
  9. place a few bay leaves over top and cover with a lid or tin foil
  10. place in the oven at low to moderate heat eg 150 half way through add the butter and enjoy the longer and slower you cook it the better AND ENJOY
