How to make it

  • leave fish as whole after being scaled, gutted and washed clean
  • cut fish down the middle
  • put fish in a casserole dish or a baking dish
  • rub the crushed garlic into the flesh of the fish
  • slice the capsicums roughly and put on the fish
  • slice onions and scatter on fish
  • sprinkle over the paprika and the salt
  • pour over the cream
  • place a few bay leaves over top and cover with a lid or tin foil
  • place in the oven at low to moderate heat eg 150 half way through add the butter and enjoy the longer and slower you cook it the better AND ENJOY
