Ingredients
  • 2 c. sugar;
  • 2 c. flour (sifted together)
  • Put in saucepan
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 Tbsps. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. water

Directions
  1. Bring to rapic boil and pour into flour mixtrue.
  2. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  3. Mix well, pour in loaf pan, bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees.
  4. Start icing 5 minutes before cake is done.
  5. ====================================================
  6. Icing:
  7. 1 stick margarine
  8. 4 Tbsps. cocoa
  9. 6 Tbsps. milk
  10. Bring to boil---remove from heat.
  11. Add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans). Spread on cake while hot.
