so on thanksgiving (canadian) I found that turkey is the dish everyone expects

Ingredients
  • 3-4 lbs of beef tenderloin
  • 2 to 2.5 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 bushel of chives
  • 1/4 cup of fresh chopped mushrooms
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green or yellow pepper
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • salt n pepper and seasoning salt to taste
  • 10-12 shallots (baby onions)
  • 1 egg

Directions
  1. take raw beef tenderloin and butterfly it (if u are not sure how send me a mail )
  2. Chop all peppers into cubes
  3. chop shallots mushrooms and chives
  4. toss into a frying pan browning all veggies
  5. flip in a touch of red wine to pull the flavor from the pan
  6. set all veggies to cool
  7. add in breadcrumbs and egg and mix er all up :) with garlic Burp :)
  8. put you beef blanket on a cutting board and spread stuffing around evenly
  9. roll up tenderloin like a jellyroll pin with watered down toothpicks or kitchen/butchers twine
  10. cook for about 1 hour depends how u like your beef 45 min med rare 1 hour and longer will be well done all the way thru
  11. enjoy a damn fine meal
  12. and serve with a full bodied rich merlot :)
