How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 then cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and bananas until well blended.
  • Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture stirring just to blend.
  • Stir in walnuts then spoon batter into greased and floured loaf pan.
  • Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes then let stand in pan on rack for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from pan and wrap in foil then let loaf stand overnight.
