How to make it

  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
  • COOKIES:-
  • With an electric mixer, beat peanut butter & butter in large bowl at medium speed
  • Stir together sugar, baking powder & baking soda & then beat it into the peanut butter mixture until well blended
  • Beat in the vanilla & egg until well blended
  • On low speed, beat in flour until just combined, scraping down the side of the bowl
  • Stir in peanut butter cups with wooden spoon
  • cover with plastic wrap & place in fridge until firm - about 1 hr
  • Divide dough into 9 pieces
  • Pat out each piece & form into cookies 4 inches across (they will spread to make 5 inch cookies)
  • Can divide the dough into smaller pieces to make more cookies, but give them room to spread about 1 inch
  • Place cookies on un-greased cookie sheets
  • Bake 10 mins or until lightly browned
  • .
  • CHOCOLATE PIPING:-
  • Place chocolate in small resealable plastic freezer bag & seal, squeezing out air
  • Microwave on 50% power for 1 min
  • Turn bag over & microwave on medium 1 min or until melted
  • Knead bag until chocolate is smooth
  • Cut off tiny corner og bag & pipe decorative lines on cookies
  • Let stand until chocolate has set
