Spanish rice

- 1 cup rice (I like Mahatma) shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic thinly sliced shopping list
- chicken bouillon (I like Knorrs powdered not squares) shopping list
- 1 small can tomato sauce shopping list
- 3 slices yellow onion shopping list
- 1/2 green pepper diced shopping list
- EVOO shopping list
- 1 and 1/2 cups water shopping list
How to make it
- In a non stick pan heat 2-3 tbsp EVOO and saute rice til just golden
- Add the bouillon to the water to mix and add with remaining ingredients
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes
- I find sometimes you need to add a little more water towards the end of cooking depending on the rice but this is a generally foolproof recipe.
