Shrimp Monterey Recipe
This is a great recipe tried and true recipe from the Barker Estate in Greenville, Texas in 1994,

Ingredients
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 pounds medium shrimp uncooked peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 8 ounces Monterey jack cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley minced

Directions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat sauté garlic in butter for 1 minute.
  2. Add shrimp and cook 5 minutes then transfer to greased dish and set aside and keep warm.
  3. Add wine to the skillet then bring to a boil and cook and stir 5 minutes until sauce is reduced.
  4. Pour sauce over shrimp and top with cheese and parsley.
  5. Bake uncovered at 350 for 10 minutes.
