Bacon Cheese Puffs

This is a really pretty cheese and bacon appetizer. You can use any variety of party bread for the recipe, or any other thinly sliced bread.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. sliced bacon shopping list
- 2 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 2 T. prepared mustard shopping list
- 1 c. mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/4 c. minced onion shopping list
- 1 lb. sliced pumpernickle party bread, or other thinlky sliced bread shopping list
How to make it
- Cook bacon in large skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned. Drain, crumble and set aside.
- Preheat oven to broil.
- In a medium bowl combine the bacon, cheese, mustard and mayonnaise and onions. Stir well. Arrange party bread on a cookie sheet. Spoon mixture onto each slice of bread.
- Broil for 5 minutes, or until bubbly.
