Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 tablespoons butter melted

1-1/2 cups buttermilk

1 square melted unsweetened chocolate

Directions

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

In a small bowl beat eggs, milk and butter then add to flour mixture then stir in chocolate.

Allow to stand 5 minutes then pour by spoonfuls onto hot lightly greased griddle.

Cook until bubbles break on top then turn and cook until underside is golden.
