How to make it

  • Mix cheese,eggs,sugar,baking powder and vanilla.
  • Add flour,mix well.
  • Batter will be stiff.
  • Do not refrigerate.
  • Make an hour or two before using,stirring every once in a while.
  • In heavy pan,pour oil to almost full.
  • Heat until hot.
  • Drop mixture by 1/2 teaspoons into hot oil.
  • Do not turn,they turn by themselves.
  • Remove with slotted spoon.
  • Drain on paper towels over brown sack.
  • Make about 6 at a time until batter is used.
  • Sprinkle heavily with powdered sugar and dashes of cinnamon.
  • Serve warm.
